SAP PP-MTO Functional & Technical Leadership * Lead solution design and configuration for Make-to-Order production, including: o Sales order-based planning o Sales order costing and valuated/non-valuated sales order stock o Requirement class/type configuration and account assignment categories o MRP run configuration for MTO segments (individual customer requirement) * Production/Process order creation, confirmation, and settlement tied to sales orders o Variant configuration (LO-VC) for configurable materials, where applicable o Integration with SD (availability check/ATP, delivery, billing) and MM (procurement for MTO components) o Costing and variance analysis for sales-order-related production * Review and approve functional/technical specs (WRICEF) authored by PP consultants; ensure design consistency across the landscape. * Guide integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and cutover/data migration strategy for MTO-specific data objects (open sales orders, WIP production orders, sales order stock). * Provide hands-on troubleshooting support for critical production issues in the MTO order-to-cash and plan-to-produce cycles. * Ensure solution designs align with SAP best practices and leverage S/4HANA innovations (e.g., MRP Live, Production Cockpit/Manufacturing dashboards, embedded analytics) where relevant.
