The engineer in this role will be responsible for testing and implementing patches on network systems such as switches, routers, firewalls, and email gateways. They will work closely with the Network Architect to ensure the network is secure and that all devices are maintained in a hardened state. This role also requires clear and effective communication of network issues to relevant stakeholders, supporting strong working relationships and reinforcing our commitment to deliver reliable support to the Navy. Additionally, the engineer will collaborate with the System Infrastructure and System Security teams to assist with implementations and troubleshooting activities. This position is 100% on-site with limited expectations for travel. Duties and Responsibilities include: Test and implement patches on network systems i.e. switches, routers, firewalls * Assist with identifying and resolving networking issues * Support the Network Architect with testing and planning for new projects * Collaborate with the Security team to ensure compliance * Serve as the first point of contact for all network-related issues. ## Related Videos - [Dev & Test in the Cloud?
