## About the Role

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or in a related discipline from an accredited University

 * Strong attention to detail and must be able to work with minimal supervision

 * Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

 * Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships

 * Must be able to work well in a team environment

 * Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access

 * EPDM/PLM Experience

 * Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Background

 * Hardware Design

 * Creo

 * Hands-on equipment assembly and installation

 * Experience with agile processes and implementation

 * Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

 * Able to work independently

## Description

Conducts or participates in the research, design, development, and testing of COTS or custom computing hardware and/or otherelectrical components. Develops designs for the installation of components and assembliesinto chassis, racks, cabinets,workstations, customer facilities, and/or shelters. Plans, directs, reviews and coordinates preparation of project documentation to ensure customer contract and company requirements are met. Prepares specifications, evaluates vendors, and analyzes test reports.
