STEM degree preferred (Electrical, Mechanical, Aersospace) * Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice ## Description Lockheed Martin Space is currently seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Systems Engineering and Integration Team . The Systems Engineering and Integration Team is responsible for the oversight, development, and coordination of Reentry Body (RB) development programs. The selected individual will oversee the technical development of a Reentry Body test flight while coordinating across multiple organizations including various design disciplines (mechanical, electrical, RF), flight sciences, FBM Missile Engineering, contracts, Finance, as well as the Navy Customer. The selected individual will coordinate a single or multiple projects and be responsible for the technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, and risk analysis, and be the overall owner of the project(s). The information below reflects the standard job description for this position: Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
