The role will also participate in hands-on deployments and troubleshooting as needed., * 10+ years of enterprise network engineering experience with strong routing and switching expertise. * Strong experience with data center networking and network design. * Hands-on experience with Arista switching, preferably production Arista EOS environments. * Strong Cisco routing and switching experience. * Advanced knowledge of BGP and OSPF. * Strong Layer 2/Layer 3 networking knowledge. * Experience with VLANs, trunking, STP/RSTP, EtherChannel/Port Channel and high-availability networking. * Experience participating in network deployments, migrations, upgrades, and cutovers. * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work as a routing and switching SME and independently provide technical solutions. Skillsets: * CCIE preferred. * CCNP with 10+ years of strong routing/switching experience will also be considered. * Experience with Cisco Nexus and/or other data center switching platforms. * Experience with VXLAN/EVPN, MLAG, VPC or spine-leaf architectures. * Experience with large-scale data center network environments. Education: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field. ## Description * Our client is looking for a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer / Routing & Switching SME to support data center and enterprise network projects.
