I use ArcGIS or QGIS, SQL and some scripting in Python to automate data workflows and contribute to the development of new geodata products and client projects involving GIS, asset management and spatial analysis. My curiosity for database technologies and automation helps me to keep developing these processes and my own technical knowledge. I enjoy working with colleagues from different disciplines to solve complex data issues and continuously look for opportunities to learn and improve. Experience with FME or any ETL software gives me an additional tool to do so. Working closely with colleagues and customers is an important part of my job. Being customer oriented, I listen to users when they have questions about our applications and guide them towards a solution. On my Service Desk days, I'm the first point of contact for users, handling support requests by phone, email and ticketing systems. My fluency in French and English helps me communicate easily with customers and colleagues, while knowledge of Dutch is an extra asset. ## Related Videos - [Fault Tolerance and Consistency at Scale: Harnessing the Power of Distributed SQL Databases](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1146-fault-tolerance-and-consistency-at-scale-harnessing-the-power-of-distributed-sql-databases) - [From Messy Queries to Scalable Systems - How Data Engineering actually works](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100203-from-messy-queries-to-scalable-systems-how-data-engineering-actually-works) - [JavaScript?
