## About the Role

Are you passionate about building reliable data systems that enable complex analysis and research?

Do you enjoy solving challenging data engineering problems, working with large datasets, and building the foundations that help teams make better decisions?

Would you like to work in an environment where you have real ownership, minimal bureaucracy, and the freedom to build solutions your way?, * 2-3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field

 * Strong programming skills in Python, especially in a data engineering context
 * Experience building and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes, and data applications
 * Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL/PostgreSQL) and experience with NoSQL databases
 * Experience designing reliable, maintainable software solutions with a strong engineering mindset
 * Familiarity with cloud and infrastructure technologies such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes is an advantage
 * Experience with tools like Apache Airflow or similar workflow orchestration frameworks is a plus
 * Strong analytical thinking and the ability to independently solve complex technical problems
 * Curious, proactive, and comfortable working in a highly autonomous environment
 * Fluent in English and German

## Description

* Build and maintain the data infrastructure supporting the business
 * Develop, test, and optimize Python-based data applications, frameworks, and services
 * Design reliable pipelines to collect, process, store, and distribute large datasets
 * Improve data platforms, libraries, and internal frameworks to increase team efficiency
 * Ensure data quality, reliability, and accessibility across the organization
 * Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and production support
 * Take ownership of solutions from idea to implementation
