Preferred Qualifications * Security+ CE, CISSP, CAP, or other DoD 8570/8140 compliant certification. * Experience supporting Air Force or Space Force programs. * Knowledge of eMASS and related cybersecurity tools. ## Description Vision IT is seeking a highly qualified Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support operations at Los Angeles Air Force Base (LAAFB). This position requires an experienced cybersecurity professional with a strong background in Risk Management Framework (RMF), vulnerability management, and information system security compliance within Department of Defense (DoD) environments. The selected candidate will serve as the ISSO for AFSCI at LAAFB and will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems while maintaining compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies and standards., * Serve as the appointed ISSO for AFSCI at LAAFB. * Perform day-to-day implementation and monitoring of security controls for assigned information systems. * Execute and manage the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process in accordance with DoD and Air Force cybersecurity requirements. * Conduct vulnerability scans and coordinate remediation activities. * Develop, maintain, and update System Security Plans (SSPs). * Process and manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms). * Support system authorization and accreditation activities. * Ensure systems remain compliant with DoD cybersecurity regulations, STIGs, and security policies. * Coordinate with system administrators, engineers, and stakeholders to implement corrective actions and security enhancements. * Monitor security posture and assist with incident response activities as needed. * Prepare documentation and reports for audits, inspections, and cybersecurity assessments., At Vision IT, we lead with People First, ensuring our employees and customers thrive.
