This role involves working as part of the team who are supporting the FCAS design ensuring that all elements work together to deliver effects throughout an engagement. The ability to optimise effects as part of a wider, complex, interlinking combat air system is vital to the success of the FCAS, and you will play a key role in ensuring that it is fit for purpose., Your role as an experienced engineer in the System Performance team will be to act with autonomy and authority to bring about and deliver a series of studies (by developing and utilising the matlab-Simulink based System Model) to demonstrate, prove and assess how we can optimise the effectiveness of kinetic and EW-enabled weapons in a quantified way. You will work closely with other teams to convert these findings into requirements and influence the FCAS design., Employees receive 25 days of paid annual leave per calendar year, in addition to all statutory and public holidays.
