Experience investigating potentially suspicious customer activity and making evidence-based, risk-focused decisions * Strong analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills * Ability to produce clear, concise and well-reasoned case documentation and investigation reports * Experience using transaction monitoring systems, case management tools and screening platforms * Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively * Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience Desirable Skills * Experience within financial services, investment management, wealth management, banking, payments or fintech * Knowledge of UK Money Laundering Regulations, JMLSG Guidance, FCA expectations, POCA and SAR reporting requirements * Experience supporting transaction monitoring rule tuning, typology assessment, threshold calibration and model validation * Experience producing management information and reporting using Excel and other analytical tools * Experience with Power BI, SQL, Tableau or similar data visualisation and analytics tools * Professional qualification such as ICA, ACAMS or equivalent * Experience using customer screening, case management and risk assessment tools ## Description As a Transaction Monitoring Analyst, you'll play a key role in identifying and investigating unusual or potentially suspicious activity, helping Vanguard maintain a robust and effective financial crime risk management framework. You'll work with a range of stakeholders across Compliance, Risk, Operations and Technology while developing deep expertise in transaction monitoring, financial crime typologies and risk-based investigations.
