## About the Role

* Extensive background in the development of complex software systems
 * Strong awareness of software development technologies
 * Significant experience in the specification and development of Sensor/Effector systems, including C2/GUI aspects
 * Experience considering Human Factors is highly beneficial
 * Significant experience and knowledge of interfacing software systems to achieve integrated capability and data sharing
 * Ability to work alongside Solution Architects and provide expertise that helps shape overall system architectures
 * Experience developing white papers to shape and steer thinking within the stakeholder community
 * Experience working within the defence industry is essential
 * Experience using tools such as Visual Studio (C#/C++), DOORS, Cameo, Rhapsody and The Mathworks is desirable
 * Must be eligible for full security clearance

## Description

* Refine existing implementations of our C-UAS software systems
 * Support and define the strategic direction and architectures to fulfil future challenges in the solution space
 * Carry out SI Enterprise Architecture design
 * Identify software solutions and architectures
 * Provide technical leadership in bids and external studies
 * Scope and participate in PV
 * Support Capability Management for product portfolios
 * Work alongside Solution Architects to help shape overall system architectures
 * Develop white papers to shape and steer thinking within the stakeholder community

 * Visual Studio, We are partnering directly with hackajob to hire a C-UAS Software Architect for our Mission Systems C-UAS team. Our world-leading C-UAS systems help address an increasing global threat, and our teams work alongside international government agencies to help ensure national security. This is a permanent hybrid role based primarily in Basildon, with flexibility to work from home when on-site work is not required.
