* Delivered one or more production applications primarily hosted on Cloudflare.
 * Deep expertise with Cloudflare Workers and edge computing concepts.
 * Experience implementing stateful applications using Durable Objects.
 * Production experience with D1, KV, and/or R2.
 * Strong understanding of Cloudflare's serverless ecosystem and architecture patterns.
 * Experience debugging and monitoring applications deployed across Cloudflare's global network.
 * Strong software engineering fundamentals.
 * Experience designing distributed systems.
 * Understanding of application security best practices.

## Description

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior Cloudflare Developer to work for our client within the public sector. This is initially a 4 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a remote role that will be based in Leeds or London., * Design and build full-stack web applications using Cloudflare Workers and Pages.

 * Develop secure REST and GraphQL APIs running on Cloudflare's edge network.
 * Build frontend applications using frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue, Astro, or Svelte.
 * Design and implement data solutions using D1, KV, Durable Objects, and R2.
 * Implement authentication, authorization, and API security controls.
 * Create CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes using Wrangler and GitHub Actions.
 * Optimize application performance, scalability, and resilience across global edge locations.
 * Integrate AI capabilities using Workers AI, Vectorize, and related services where appropriate.
 * Monitor applications and troubleshoot production issues using Cloudflare observability tools, * Opportunity to re-skill and up-skill into new areas, develop non-linear career paths and build a skillset within your field
