* Strong commercial experience with Java development.
 * Experience with Spring Framework (or equivalent).
 * Solid understanding of software design patterns and their practical application.
 * Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and engineering best practices.
 * Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
 * Experience working with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines.
 * Passion for code quality, automated testing, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).

Desirable Skills

 * Experience with Kafka.
 * Experience with IBM MQ / MQ Series.
 * Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies.
 * Experience working within Agile delivery environments.

## Description

* Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services.
 * Build scalable, resilient solutions using the Spring Framework or similar technologies.
 * Contribute to system design and architecture discussions.
 * Develop high-quality code using Test-Driven Development (TDD) and modern engineering practices.
 * Support containerised deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
 * Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated delivery practices.
 * Collaborate with developers, testers, architects, and product teams within Agile delivery teams.
 * Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and quality standards.
