The position will work closely with the database management and application development teams to enhance data interoperability and data integration efforts. This position will play a lead role in establishing DCF's data interoperability strategy as well as data classification and security framework. Ideal candidate will have the ability to be self-directed and able to work independently. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication and will have experience creating and documenting technical processes and standards. Position requires a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. If you are interested, please submit the following: * Your current resume * Your hourly rate, * Implementing data management standards to ensure consistency in the metadata categories within the data models. * Produce and enforce database development standards and ensure consistency across all of the data models within DCF business intelligence. * Design, maintain and develop database architecture as well as conceptual, logical and physical data models. Ensure that all relevant aspects of data model (granularity, etc.) are taken into account. Analyze the logical and physical database models and guarantee models are in accordance with standards. * Data conversion and integration expertise to increase interoperability within the data platform * Be responsible for leading and facilitating communication with business customers, IT staff, and other stakeholders, incorporating business requirements into data model design. * Translate technical aspects of data modeling into language that non-technical users can understand.
