You will experience these qualities of passion, pride and aspiration in many ways - from a rich set of career development programs to support of community service projects to social events that foster fun and relationship building across our global community., * BS or MS in Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or related fields (advanced degree preferable). * 5 plus years of experience with SAFe Agile or similar Agile frameworks is a must. * Experience in the development of software for modeling, control and optimization of chemicals, oil & gas, and/or refining processes is a strong plus. * Strong background in numerical methods, mathematical modeling, and optimization. * Solid computer programming and software development experience, with specific experience in C#/.NET. Experience with C++ is a plus. * Understanding of refinery, petrochemical, or chemical processes, including planning, scheduling, optimization, supply chain, or distribution workflows is a strong plus. * Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing and presentation skills. * Demonstrated ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner. ## Description AspenTech is looking for a mid level Product Owner to join our Manufacturing and Supply Chain (MSC) group, contributing to the next generation of solutions that help refinery and petrochemical companies optimize their value chain. In this role, you will combine strong software development, mathematical modeling, and optimization skills with a product-oriented mindset. You will collaborate closely with Product Management, Product Owners, and Product Designers to help define features, use cases, and product workflows, and ensure the development team delivers functionality that aligns with real customer needs. This position is ideal for a developer who enjoys understanding how customers use the software, how their workflows operate, and how to translate that understanding into clear technical design and high-quality implementation.
