## About the Role

u2022 Associate degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, information systems, business, communications, or a related field, or an additional two or more years of relevant experience in place of the degree requirement.\n
\u2022 At least 8 years of relevant experience aligned to the responsibilities of this position.\n
\u2022 Experience implementing or operating DLP and data-security technologies.\n
\u2022 Strong understanding of database security, access controls, encryption, and data protection.\n
\u2022 Knowledge of privacy and sensitive-data handling requirements.\n
\u2022 CompTIA Security+ certification.\n
\u2022 Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification.\n
\u2022 Ability to obtain and maintain the required federal background investigation, Public Trust determination, or security clearance associated with the position.\n

\nPreferred Qualifications\n
\u2022 Experience protecting PHI, PII, or sensitive research information.\n
\u2022 Experience with cloud-based data protection and DLP technologies.\n
\u2022 Federal privacy or security experience.\n
\n
\nPhysical Requirements\n
\u2022 Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working at a computer.\n
\u2022 Ability to communicate effectively through virtual and in-person meetings.\n
\u2022 Ability to perform duties in an office, remote, or hybrid environment based on program requirements.\n
