## Description

* Preliminary design estimates for proposals, project management, schedule and document coordination with a diverse customer base, preparation of final designs, and review of final fabrication and construction documents prepared by other staff members
 * Designs and interprets drawings for the following: substation structures, foundations, lightning protection systems, aluminum bus systems, and factory built structures
 * Reviews drawings for substation equipment, structure designs and equipment specs
 * Ensures compliance with customer specifications and design codes
 * Creates and/or checks structural design calculations
 * Creates and/or checks foundation design calculations
 * Checks fence, foundation, and steel layout detail drawings
 * Checks general arrangement drawings for electrical clearances and physical/electrical layout requirements
 * Problem solves issues related to design, construction, and compliance
 * Answers technical questions posed by project managers, customers, and their representatives
 * Recognizes and recommends methods to improve every customer's experience.
