The primary purpose of the role is to deliver sustainable throughput improvements across packaging and/or processing operations by eliminating constraints, reducing manufacturing losses, and improving equipment and process capability. The engineer will work closely with Maintenance and Operations leaders, apply formal problem-solving methods, and execute a limited number of targeted capital projects. The role also provides secondary engineering-level escalation support for electrical, instrumentation, controls, and automation issues affecting site performance.
