Helpful Knowledge: * Familiarity with Visual Studio and/or VS Code * Familiarity with GitHub and/or Git * NetBackup, SQL, UNIX, Red Hat Linux, Automation * Enterprise storage design/operation and virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V) * SCCM, SCOM, vSphere 8/9, and SAN support/administration * Cloud applications: OneDrive, PowerBI * Troubleshooting enterprise problems * Project Management experience * IT incident management software (ServiceNow), A minimum of 5 years of total experience, with at least 3 years in a Systems Engineering role, is required. A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems is desired. Microsoft Certifications on Azure or Windows Server (2016 or later) are strongly preferred. ITIL version 3 certification is a plus. ## Description The Systems Engineer will participate and perform in a variety of activities including proactive solution development; collaboration with other Engineers and support teams for problem resolution; and technical project design and execution. The Systems Engineer is responsible for hands-on solution development, validation, and technical integration efforts. The candidate will work with other resources or delivery teams to build component solutions or major solutions of various sizes and complexities.
