## About the Role

* 7+ years' experience across Data Engineering, BI, Analytics Engineering or Data Modelling
 * Advanced SQL
 * Strong expertise in Power BI, DAX and Power Query
 * Expert dimensional & semantic modelling
 * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric - Warehouse, Lakehouse, OneLake & Direct Lake
 * Experience owning enterprise/cross-business-unit data models
 * Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills

This is a great opportunity for a senior Data/BI professional ready to step into a second-in-command position, combining technical leadership with genuine influence across the business.

## Description

You'll be responsible for:

 * Designing reusable data products, dimensional and semantic models
 * Setting standards around business logic, KPIs, DAX, Power BI and data quality
 * Translating complex business requirements into scalable data solutions
 * Working closely with the Lead Data Engineer across the Microsoft Fabric environment
 * Reviewing models and logic produced by the BI team
 * Coaching technical teams and influencing senior business stakeholders
 * Shaping the data roadmap, governance and operating model
 * Exploring new Fabric, Power BI and AI capabilities
