Experience with Planning & Zoning Commissions or Permit Facilitation Experience in retail / healthcare industry. Experience using AutoCAD and RevitWe will consider employment of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. ## Description The Permit Facilitation Manager is responsible for leading and completing permit due diligence, permitting execution, regulatory compliance, and jurisdictional coordination for Walgreens Construction and StoreCare projects across the United States. This role manages the end-to-end permitting process, including permit acquisition where required, annual permit and asset license renewals & payment administration, and violation resolution activities. The position serves as a key liaison between internal business partners, external consultants, landlords, and local government agencies to identify and resolve permit and code-related challenges, minimize project risk, and provide guidance on compliance requirements and variance opportunities. The role requires strong knowledge of building codes, permitting processes, architecture, engineering, and interior design standards to ensure projects meet all applicable state and local regulations, company standards, and best practices.
