## About the Role

* BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent STEM field

 * Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access

 * Experience designing system-to-system interfaces using REST, Kafka, and databases.

 * Experience briefing design solutions to stakeholders at various levels of technical capability

 * Experience coding Java and Web-based systems

Desired Skills

 * Agile experience using Atlassian Tools

 * USSTRATCOM mission insight (Intel, Planning, or C2)

 * Cybersecurity insights and experience evaluating vulnerabilities, threats, and risks

 * Experience with large-scale, complex, SW-based systems

 * Engineering experience with AFNWC SMPES, MPAS, NPES Systems

## Description

Our team needs a full-time Software Architect. In this role, you will work with Govt engineers to understand the software environment for new mission capabilities and design and document architectures that provide context for developers. Your designs will need to prioritize cybersecurity, performance, and reliability to ensure software components can achieve mission goals. A key part of this position will be to pathfind on new patterns that can be leveraged by Agile teams.

Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance.
