Develops and provides reports as requested by stakeholders., * Designs, develops, and maintains responsive websites and applications, working across front-end and back-end components while collaborating closely with the members of the web team, the Law School Communications and Marketing office, and other stakeholders. Performs quality assurance (QA) testing during staging and after deployment, identifying and resolving cross-browser issues and other defects. * Develops and performs maintenance on the Law School's WordPress Multisite installation, including custom Site Editor themes and plugins using PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, using clean, reusable code and following modern development practices. Keeps WordPress core and plugins current and secure. * Fields incoming website-related help requests from Law School faculty, staff, and students, troubleshooting issues and connecting requesters with the right solution or resource. * Stays current on standards and trends in web development, including HTML, CSS, scripting languages, browser compatibility, and accessibility, and actively pursues new skills to keep pace with evolving web technology. * Other related responsibilities, functions, and projects as assigned., The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length., Employees may be required to report violations of law under Title IX and the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act).
