Role Scope and Development Senior engineers will provide mentoring, design review, and production-change oversight. The Associate AWS DevOps Engineer will contribute to cloud migrations, production operations, compliance activities, incident response, and disaster-recovery planning while progressively assuming more complex responsibilities. This position is not expected to independently own enterprise cloud architecture, FedRAMP compliance, production incident command, disaster-recovery architecture, or large-scale cloud migrations., The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a national agency check and background investigation after hiring to obtain a badge for government facility access and user account ## Description KBR is seeking an Associate AWS DevOps Engineer to support the development, automation, security, and operation of AWS environments for mission-critical customer workloads. This hands-on, early-career position will work with experienced cloud, DevOps, architecture, cybersecurity, application, and infrastructure teams. Under technical guidance, the engineer will support cloud modernization and develop expertise in AWS, Infrastructure as Code, continuous integration and delivery, containers, security, observability, FinOps, and AI-assisted engineering.
