* 8+ years of network engineering experience
 * Strong expertise in OT network segmentation, Palo Alto firewalls, and network security
 * Experience with the Purdue Model ISA-95 framework
 * Hands-on knowledge of routing, switching, SD-WAN, Cisco technologies, and network security solutions
 * Excellent communication and collaboration skills
 * Experience supporting manufacturing, laboratory, or industrial environments preferred

## Description

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Network Engineer for a long-term contract position in the Albany - Rensselaer, NY area 5 days a week onsite. Summary: We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support a high-visibility Operational Technology (OT) Segmentation Project within a complex manufacturing environment. This role will focus on enhancing network security, segmentation, and firewall policy management while partnering with enterprise and site IT teams. Duties Include:

 * Lead OT network segmentation initiatives in a regulated manufacturing environment
 * Design, implement, and support secure network infrastructure, including routing, switching, wireless, and firewall technologies
 * Develop and manage Palo Alto firewall security policies
 * Collaborate with engineering, operations, and project teams to deliver scalable, secure network solutions
 * Maintain network documentation and support compliance requirements
