Desirable skills: * Time-series data and time-series databases. * Monitoring or observability platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry or Elasticsearch. * Large-scale scientific or operational datasets. * Data catalogues, metadata repositories or data-preservation systems. * Experience in satellite missions or ground-segment operations. * Statistical analysis and automated anomaly detection. ## Description * Analyse the measurements and metrics exposed by operational services. * Work with service owners to define metric-exchange agreements. * Map source measurements to the central monitoring data model. * Validate the completeness, correctness and consistency of incoming monitoring data. * Normalise measurement names, formats, units, timestamps and identifiers. * Enrich metrics with contextual metadata such as service, mission, project and dataflow information. * Define and implement automated data-quality checks. * Detect missing, delayed, duplicated or inconsistent measurements. * Investigate data-quality and ingestion problems. * Maintain metric definitions, mappings and configuration. * Support the configuration of dashboards, reports and alerts. * Supervise operational data ingestion. * Maintain logs, traceability and data-lineage information. * Support testing and validation of new or modified monitoring interfaces. * Assist with change requests, releases and operational deployments. * Prepare operating procedures, data definitions and user documentation. * Support service reporting and knowledge-transfer activities. * Cooperate closely with integration engineers, service owners and the central monitoring-platform team.
