Responsibilities include executing test cases, creating and running automated scripts, creating defect reports, and working with Application Engineering to troubleshoot issues; define and implement comprehensive test strategies and frameworks for projects; oversee the creation and maintenance of test plans, cases, and documentation; ensure alignment of QA activities with business goals and product requirements; identify opportunities to improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies; lead initiatives to enhance automation coverage and efficiency; drive adoption of best practices in testing, defect management, and reporting; guide team in developing and maintaining automated test scripts for web, API, and service layers; perform functional, regression, usability and load/performance testing; ensure integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines; oversee backend validation and data integrity checks using SQL and other tools; and oversee defect identification, logging, tracking, and resolution.
