* Proven experience managing large-scale enterprise network environments
 * Strong understanding of routing and core network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP
 * Deep knowledge of network security principles and technologies
 * Experience with firewalls, VPNs and encryption standards
 * Hands-on experience with virtualisation platforms such as VMware vSphere
 * Strong Windows Server administration experience
 * Exposure to containerisation technologies would be beneficial
 * Experience working within structured IT service environments
 * CCNP / CCIE
 * JNCIP
 * ITIL certification or framework exposure

## Description

* Designing and maintaining enterprise-level network architecture including LAN, WAN, WLAN and VPN
 * Ensuring high availability, performance and scalability across network services
 * Troubleshooting and resolving complex network and infrastructure issues
 * Managing and configuring network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers
 * Leading infrastructure upgrades, migrations and improvement projects
 * Implementing secure remote access solutions using VPN, IPsec, SSL/TLS and SSH
 * Managing network security controls including firewall policies, IDS/IPS, encryption and PKI
 * Monitoring network performance, capacity and security, identifying opportunities for optimisation
 * Supporting disaster recovery and business continuity planning
 * Managing patching, system updates and configuration backups
 * Producing and maintaining technical documentation
 * Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members
 * Supporting incident response and participating in on-call support where required
