## Description

Data Engineering Manager is required by a large organisation to lead the design, delivery, and operation of a Microsoft Fabric-based data platform supporting BI, analytics, AI/ML and other data initiatives across the organisation.

You will be responsible for:

 * Leading, mentoring, and growing a team of data engineers.
 * Owning the roadmap for Fabric-based data platform.
 * Managing delivery of data engineering projects and platform improvements against agreed quality, timescales, and business needs.
 * Overseeing the design, build, testing, deployment, and maintenance of data pipelines and data integrations.
 * Ensuring successful delivery of data assets.
 * Ensuring platform availability, performance and reliability.
 * Embedding data quality, security, and governance controls throughout the data platform.
 * Building strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders, and managing third-party/supplier relationships
 * Establishing engineering standards and driving CI/CD, DevOps, and automation practices.
