## About the Role

* Strong, hands-on Talend experience - essential
 * Strong Oracle database experience, ideally Oracle RDS
 * Strong SQL and data modelling skills
 * Solid ETL/data integration experience
 * Experience with structured SDLC and testing frameworks
 * Experience with CI/CD, preferably GitLab
 * Enterprise or UK Government/public-sector experience desirable
 * Active SC or SC clearable

## Description

The role will focus on developing and maintaining ETL pipelines using Talend, working with Oracle databases and supporting CI/CD, testing and production release activities., * Design, develop and maintain ETL solutions using Talend

 * Build and maintain Oracle SQL and DDL artefacts
 * Develop and maintain data pipelines within an established Talend framework
 * Contribute to CI/CD pipeline enhancements
 * Investigate and resolve defects across development and testing
 * Carry out component testing and create test data
 * Support QA, performance testing and production releases
 * Conduct peer reviews of development and test artefacts
 * Work within structured SDLC and testing frameworks
 * Participate in Agile ceremonies and cross-team coordination
 * Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members
