## About the Role

* 7+ years building and supporting scalable, distributed systems
 * Deep hands-on experience with Java (Spring Boot) and modern JavaScript/React
 * Strong grounding in identity and access management: OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, SSO, JWT, MFA

Desirable:

 * AWS security services experience (IAM, Cognito, KMS, Secrets Manager)
 * Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and threat modelling
 * Prior technical leadership or mentorship experience

## Description

* Own, design, implement and support major components of the identity and access management platform
 * Define authentication and authorisation patterns (OAuth2, OIDC, SSO, JWT, MFA) across client-facing and internal systems
 * Lead the design of token issuance, validation and session management across services
 * Guide identity and security architecture decisions using strong Java, React and AWS expertise
 * Partner with security, platform and product teams to embed secure-by-design practices into the SDLC
 * Drive engineering best practice and mentor engineers across the team
