**Apply:** https://apply.deloitte.com/en_US/careers/Login?jobId=364881 ## About the Role * Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team * Effective written and verbal communication skills * Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product * Ability to build and sustain professional relationships * Ability to lead projects or workstreams * Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment * Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor * Ability to meet deadlines * Ability to provide clear guidance to others, Required: * Bachelor's degree * Active Public Trust security clearance * Must be MarkLogic Certified or able to obtain MarkLogic Certification. * 5+ years of experience data migration leadership * 3+ years of experience developing detailed source-to-target mappings for data integration and migration initiatives. * 3+ years of experience with strong hands-on experience with PL/SQL development, including complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and packages. * 3+ years of experience performing data validation, reconciliation, and defect resolution to ensure data accuracy and completeness. * 1+ years of experience delivering solutions in Agile/Scrum environments, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. * Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future Preferred: * Proficiency designing, developing, testing, and executing ETL processes. * Experience with Appian or low-code platform migrations * Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar relational databases * Familiarity with data profiling, cleansing, and cutover planning * Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills * Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management software ## Description As a Data Engineer III on the GPS Engineering as a Service team, you will be responsible for delivering Appian-based business process solutions that support mission objectives. * Lead migration of data from legacy system into the relational database supporting a new Appian application. * Own source-to-target mapping, migration strategy, ETL coordination, reconciliation, validation, and cutover support across the full migration lifecycle. * Partner with architects, Appian developers, analysts, and business SMEs to ensure data quality, completeness, and alignment to the evolving target-state data model. * Participate in Agile delivery activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and release support. * Apply Appian development standards, reusable components, and performance practices to support maintainability and technical quality. ## Related Videos -
