## About the Role

8-10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or security engineering

 - Proven experience in incident response within a commercial enterprise environment

 - Strong troubleshooting and investigative mindset

 - Experience working in cloud environments, preferably AWS

 - Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership in ambiguous situations - Exposure to AI-driven security tools and/or detecting AI-based threats

 - Experience working with globally distributed teams

 - Certifications: GCIH, GCFA, or similar IR/Forensics certs

 - Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

 - Experience with SOAR/automation and scripting (Python/PowerShell)

 - Background improving detection quality (signal-to-noise, tuning, enrichment)

## Description

We are seeking a Principal Security Engineer to join a highly collaborative and globally distributed security team. This individual will play a key role in leading incident response efforts, proactively identifying emerging threats, and strengthening security across a cloud-first (AWS) environment., Lead and support incident response efforts across the organization

 - Investigate complex security events with a strong analytical and investigative mindset

 - Identify root causes and proactively determine where to look next in threat scenarios

 - Secure and monitor a hybrid/cloud-based infrastructure (AWS-heavy)

 - Stay ahead of emerging threats, including those involving AI and machine learning

 - Contribute to and enhance security best practices and processes

 - Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers on the team
