Core Competencies * Strong cross-functional collaboration, particularly with cybersecurity, network, and platform engineering teams. * Ability to balance architectural rigor with pragmatic delivery timelines. * Ability to translate business and application requirements into scalable, well-documented technical architecture. * Clear communicator, able to present architecture decisions and trade-offs to both technical and business audiences. * Self-directed and comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy in a remote setting. Preferences * Industry certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect, CISSP, or CCSP. * Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, ARM/Bicep) for repeatable architecture deployment. * Familiarity with identity and access management (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID) and its role in secure architecture design. * Experience with compliance and security frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, CIS) as they relate to architecture decisions. * Experience in a global industrial manufacturing or OT-adjacent IT environment. ## Description The IT Cloud Cybersecurity Architect sits within the Infrastructure organization and owns the technical architecture of Ingersoll Rand's PaaS and SaaS cloud footprint across Azure and AWS - designing scalable, resilient platform patterns while partnering closely with the cybersecurity team to ensure every architecture decision is secure by design.
