## About the Role

* B.S. in Aerospace, Systems or Mechanical Engineering (or other related technical subject area)

 * 3+ years experience with hardware-focused organizations, managing and maintaining large CAD assemblies

 * Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001

 * Demonstrated organization skills

 * Ability to earn trust and maintain positive and professional relationships

 * Experience working with cross-functional teams, demonstrated ability to break down complex problems, strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced development environment

Desired Experience

 * Familiarity with requirements management tools such as DOORS or Jama

 * Experience with MBSE and Cameo

 * Familiarity with government and DoD contracts and specifications

 * Technical knowledge of rocket motor components and processes

 * SRM or other propulsion system design, development, or testing

## Description

* Ownership and configuration management of system CAD models in both development and production environments, maintaining accuracy of eBOM, product structure, and assembly configurations including Ursa Major designed and COTS components

 * Definition of clear communication process between design, manufacturing, and test operations to ensure consistent configuration management of products through all hardware stages supporting Test, Manufacturing, and Shipment of hardware

 * Incorporation of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) feedback from the manufacturing team

 * Work with manufacturing team to ensure system model is sufficient to ensure accurate and up-to-date build Work Instructions

 * Consistent delivery of eBOM to the manufacturing team in intervals that best support development or production efforts based on engineering change

 * Development of Technical Data Packages for customer delivery

 * Develop and guide methodology of Digital Engineering and Model Based Engineering approaches

 * Management, constraining, and modeling support of assemblies consisting of multiple subassemblies, wiring harnesses, and ratification against customer mechanical interface control documents and requirements

 * Interfacing capability, and collaboration with engineering groups such as Systems Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Chief Engineering teams
