## About the Role

* At least 5 years of systems administration experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments
 * Strong M365 administration experience
 * Hands-on experience with server and virtualization platforms
 * Networking capabilities required, with firewall expertise a must and wireless infrastructure experience a plus
 * Experience supporting enterprise environments, ideally with 500+ end users
 * Working knowledge of security, patching, access controls, and endpoint protection practices

## Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to support the performance, security, and reliability of their technology environment. This hands-on role covers enterprise infrastructure, cloud and identity platforms, networking, and security operations across on-premises and cloud systems. This is an onsite position based in Hartford County, CT.
Senior Systems Administrator's Responsibilities and Duties:

 * Administer, maintain, and enhance enterprise servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and core infrastructure in a hybrid environment
 * Support cloud services, identity and access management, collaboration platforms, and endpoint management systems
 * Maintain, secure, and troubleshoot core network infrastructure, including firewalls, wireless infrastructure, and secure remote access technologies
 * Implement and maintain security controls, endpoint protection, patching, and remediation activities
 * Participate in monitoring, backups, disaster recovery, upgrades, and ongoing infrastructure improvement initiatives
 * Use scripting and systems management tools to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency
