## About the Role

* High School diploma or GED required.
 * Associates Degree is Information Technology or related field preferred.
 * One to two years (1-2) related work experience preferred.
 * Excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills.
 * Attention to detail.
 * Ability to work under pressure.
 * Working knowledge of past and current versions of MS Windows Desktop Operating Systems.
 * Ability to type 20 wpm.
 * Knowledge of cellular plans, usage and vendors.
 * Basic knowledge of database maintenance.
 * Basic computer knowledge.
 * Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
 * Current Driver's License and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle required for travel.
 * United States citizenship required.
 * Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain a suitability determination.

## Description

Acts as a liaison for information systems problem management. Screens, diagnoses and/or refers inquiries and requests related to the performance and maintenance of personal computers and related systems, * Answers inquiries and requests from both internal and external customers regarding issues with personal computers, standard operating systems, standard software packages, networking, and printers.

 * Performs first level troubleshooting to resolve basic problems. Refers more complex problems to the appropriate support personnel or vendor.
 * Maintains Company database tracking incoming help desk requests, status and resolution.
 * Assists employees with cellular equipment tracking and support. Contacts cellular vendors to evaluate plans. Recommends and executes vendor changes.
 * Creates users for internal Company database, makes modifications as needed.
 * Creates and maintains users in MS Exchange and Active Directory.
 * Performs other duties as assigned.
