You will take ownership of the networking infrastructure, telemetry, and routing that manage critical data flow at scale across our current and next-generation platforms. Your technical leadership will drive the architecture of fault-tolerant software across both cellular and Wi-Fi networks. A significant part of this role involves evaluating new connectivity hardware modules and working intimately with modems and commercial cellular networks to maximize throughput and stability. By leveraging advanced cellular bonding technologies, you will deliver the robust networking backbone required to support critical capabilities. These include seamless Vehicle APIs, high-bandwidth in-depot connections, continuous telemetry, and low-latency data streaming for remote assistance. This is a highly cross-functional and high-impact role. Partnering closely with hardware, autonomy, and operations teams, you will spearhead the development of tools to optimize connectivity trends and resolve critical fleet issues. We are looking for a technical authority who can translate ambiguous requirements into cohesive system designs, mentor engineers, and shape the long-term architectural vision of Nuro's safety-critical autonomous vehicles.
