## About the Role

Flanigan's Enterprises is looking to add a highly skilled and qualified person to our IT Team as a Help Desk Support Technician. Candidate must be willing to work weekends. Be proficient in troubleshooting issues with POS, computers, printers and network systems., * Computer Science Degree \ Certifications or prior Help Desk support experience

 * Basic computer troubleshooting knowledge
 * Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems
 * Working knowledge of computer networks
 * Ability to demonstrate strong customer service tendencies
 * A willingness to learn the troubleshooting process
 * Able to maintain a calm, professional demeanor on the phone
 * Clear communication skills
 * Ability to multi-task on several projects
 * Direct experience in the restaurant industry or other POS system a plus
 * Bi-Lingual in Spanish a plus
 * MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS
 * Candidate will be trained on troubleshooting to be able to resolve POS issues.

## Description

* Respond to requests for technical assistance in via phone, chat or email
 * Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
 * Research questions using available information resources
 * Advise user on appropriate action
 * Follow up with users to ensure complete resolution of issues
 * Redirect problems to correct resource
 * Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
 * Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
 * Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks and Wide Area networks
 * Answer inquiries regarding POS systems
 * Maintain detailed records of daily communication, issues and remedial actions taken in our Helpdesk application
