## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
 * 5+ years of experience designing and developing complex applications
 * Experience in C#, .NET, API development, and SQL
 * Experience with cloud-first architectures and related Azure services, e.g. Container Apps, API Management / App Gateway, Key Vault, App Services, Logic Apps, SQL MI
 * Familiarity with modern cloud-native patterns principles, e.g. Twelve-Factor Apps, Service Oriented Architectures / microservices / REST, DevOps, Continuous Deployment, and Site Reliability Engineering
 * Understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code patterns and related technologies e.g. Bicep, ARM, Terraform
 * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
 * Experience acting as a technical leader and mentor to other software engineers or developers.
 * Experience working on agile teams and release trains, and knowledge of SAFe, is preferred
 * Strong communication and leadership skills.
 * Experience with Angular is a plus
 * Property Casualty Insurance experience is a plus

 * Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
 * Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and support.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
 * Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the team remains at the forefront of innovation.
