## About the Role

* 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure public cloud environments.
 * Solid system administration and scripting capabilities in environments like Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Perl.
 * Clear understanding of IT operations, networking, storage, and computing concepts.
 * Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities within application operations.
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills with a drive to learn new technologies.

Bonus Points For:

 * Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
 * Familiarity with container platforms including Docker, ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes.
 * Background working with FedRAMP frameworks, AWS SDK, or directory services like SAML and Active Directory.
 * Practical knowledge of database technologies (RDBMS/NoSQL) and operational tools like Grafana, Sumo, PRTG, or Jira Service Management.

## Description

* Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performing cloud infrastructure across AWS GovCloud and Azure platforms.
 * Architect automated deployment, monitoring, and observability tools to track error budgets and optimize continuous system performance.
 * Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to establish Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and build automated incident response systems.
 * Conduct high-impact redundancy, resilience, and failover testing to maintain continuous uptime for mission-critical SaaS and PaaS platforms.
 * Manage security posture and enforce FedRAMP best practices in alignment with Trimble Cloud Core Platform standards., * Collaborate with like-minded people: Our strong internal culture is a "hidden gem."
