This requires on?going, proactive interaction with all business units and close and consistent communication. * Oversees all active IT projects in the Brands and Functions and is responsible for the partnership with IT resources and vendors/partners. Takes calculated risks to create strategic value for the organization. * Plays an integral role as part of the Brands and Functions' senior management team and is a trusted advisor rather than a "technologist"; well versed in people, process and technology. * Effectively balances international needs with global IT priorities as determined by the ELC corporate strategy and the Program Management Team. Ensures consistency in the B&F as global business requirements are addressed. Ensures that current and future business plans and strategies are adequately reflected within IT strategies, developments and operational plans. * Leads Business Relationship Management function in the Brands and Functions. Develops and manages strong and reliable business and stakeholder relationships. Organizes knowledge sharing among Brands and Functions globally, prioritizes solutions roll?outs, consolidates IT requests and contributes to demand forecasting. * Provides leadership to the Brands and Functions on managing customer demand and expectations for new IT services. Directs IT and business resources onto the highest priority efforts that resolve the "most painful" issues or position the business for strategic advantage. Coordinates and collaborates with appropriate areas within IT to ensure effective project and service delivery to customers. Minimizes the impact of service quality issues. * Leads portfolio management in the Brands and Functions and coordinates project planning processes. Directs and oversees resources assigned to applications that are leveraged primarily in the Brands and Functions. Works through various IT teams to secure commitments and ensure active, prioritized engagement from IT resources.
