This is an opportunity for an experienced backend engineer to transition further into AI platform engineering while leveraging strong software engineering fundamentals., * 5+ years of professional software engineering experience. * Proven experience delivering and supporting enterprise-grade production software. * Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript. * Strong JavaScript development experience. * Experience designing, developing, and supporting REST APIs and backend services. * Production experience with AWS. * Working knowledge of Python and willingness to contribute to Python-based services. * Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and distributed systems. * Experience with Git, code reviews, and modern software development practices. * Understanding of CI/CD and automated deployment pipelines. * Experience implementing logging, monitoring, and observability solutions. * Knowledge of secure coding practices, API security, authentication, and OWASP fundamentals. * Experience working within Agile development teams. * Demonstrated interest in or hands-on exposure to AI/Generative AI technologies. The platform processes data from users' systems and moves content/data through backend services into a vector database for AI-related use cases., Client is seeking a Senior AI Backend Platform Engineer to design, develop, deploy, monitor, and support production-grade backend services and AI platform capabilities.
