## About the Role

* Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills

Preferred

 * Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Tenant Administration, or cloud technologies
 * Cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, Network+, or similar
 * Exposure to CMMC, NIST, DoD environments, or compliance-driven organizations

## Description

Our client is seeking an IT Technician to support day-to-day IT operations, cybersecurity initiatives, and a growing Microsoft cloud environment supporting Department of Defense (DoD) contracts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone ranging from an entry-level technician with a strong desire to learn to an experienced IT professional with a cybersecurity background .

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on problem solver who enjoys troubleshooting technical issues, supporting end users, and contributing to a highly secure IT environment.

Responsibilities

 * Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices
 * Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues
 * Support Microsoft cloud technologies and user administration
 * Assist with cybersecurity initiatives and compliance efforts
 * Help maintain and support CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) requirements across the organization
 * Support a secure environment for DoD-related projects and contracts
 * Document IT issues, resolutions, and system changes
 * Partner with internal team members to improve IT processes and security practices
 * Assist with network administration and general infrastructure support, * Entry-level hires will work closely with the IT team in a collaborative environment
 * More experienced professionals may have flexibility based on qualifications and business needs
 * Opportunity for long-term employment following successful completion of the contract period
