## About the Role

* Agile software development and Scrum team participation
 * Creation and execution of manual and automated test plans
 * Automated testing tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent
 * API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured
 * CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
 * Defect management using tools such as Jira

Preferred Skills/Experience:

 * Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community programs
 * Scripting languages including JavaScript and Python
 * Containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
 * Performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
 * Cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, or OpenShift
 * DevSecOps pipelines and automated quality assurance practices
 * Geospatial applications or GEOINT data, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; or Master's degree in a related field
 * Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to successfully pass a Polygraph examination
 * US citizenship required
 * Certifications such as ISTQB, CASTP, CAST, CSTE, or Security+ preferred

## Description

The Test Engineer will lead the planning, design, development, and execution of comprehensive test strategies across multiple Agile sprints, including functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing. The engineer will design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test cases for new and existing capabilities, collaborate with software engineers, product managers, systems engineers, and Scrum Masters to define acceptance criteria, and validate application performance, reliability, security, and usability. Additional responsibilities include identifying, documenting, prioritizing, and tracking software defects through resolution; supporting CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated testing into deployment workflows; analyzing test results; and contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives that enhance Agile team effectiveness.
