OR * A bachelor's or higher-level degree, including or supplemented by 15 credit hours in computer science courses. OR * 60 semester credit hours including or supplemented by 15 semester credit hours in computer science and one year of professional experience in information technology. OR * A total of two years of experience in information technology. Competitive Minimum Qualifications: You must be currently reachable on the appropriate eligible list for this title, eligible under the 55 b/c program, or eligible to transfer to this title under Section 52.6, 70.1, or 70.4 of the Civil Service Law. Transfer: For 52.6, 70.1, or 70.4 transfer to an Information Technology Specialist 2, salary grade (SG)-18, you must have one year of permanent competitive, or 55-b/55-c service in an approved title for transfer allocated to an SG-16 or above., * Demonstrated experience in provisioning and maintaining MS Active Directory users and groups. * Demonstrated experience in provisioning and maintaining Microsoft Entra ID users and groups. * Demonstrated experience in PowerShell. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical staff. * Demonstrates excellent organizational skills. ## Description Duties Description Perform or assist in performing technical and agency program support of IT activities related to network and system design, configuration, maintenance, and security; customer support; business/systems analysis and design which may include web site development and administration of a transactional, dynamic or interactive web site; and the design and development of database systems. This item is on the Information Security Management Team in the Bureau of Security & Workstation Management within the Chief Information Office. * Provision and deprovision users in Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID. * Create and update PowerShell scripts used to manage Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID. * Grant, revoke, and manage access to multiple Office of the State Comptroller systems. * Resolve incidents and complete tasks in ServiceNow. * Assist in audits requested from multiple sources.
