This is a mid-level individual-contributor role that combines threat research with hands-on engineering. Working closely with senior architects and researchers, you will investigate emerging threats, build and test prototypes, and help turn promising research into production-ready capabilities. You will collaborate across threat intelligence, detection engineering, and AI/ML teams to translate findings into practical detection and response improvements. This role is an excellent path for an engineer looking to grow toward senior and principal-level threat architecture., * Threat & technology research. Investigate emerging AI-era threats - including AI-enabled attacks and threats to AI systems (e.g., prompt injection, model misuse) - and summarize findings for the team. * Detection engineering. Build, test, and refine detection-and-response capabilities that integrate with existing security tooling and analyst workflows, under the guidance of senior architects. * Prototyping & experimentation. Develop and evaluate prototypes to test the feasibility of new defensive approaches; help document them into clear specifications. * Collaboration. Partner with detection engineering, data science, and platform teams to move prototypes toward production-ready capabilities. * Communication.
