Desired: * DAMA, CDMP, DCAM, cloud data, or data governance certification. * Experience supporting federal data strategy, evidence-building, privacy, records, or compliance requirements. * Experience with Collibra, Alation, Microsoft Purview, Informatica, Atlan, or comparable data catalog platforms., * Strong knowledge of data governance operating models, data stewardship, business glossaries, metadata, lineage, data quality, and data lifecycle management. * Ability to translate governance policy into implementable workflows, platform configurations, controls, and accountability structures. * Experience facilitating data ownership decisions with business, technical, cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance stakeholders. * Ability to document data standards, architecture decisions, governance procedures, and implementation plans. * Strong communication skills with the ability to make governance actionable rather than theoretical. * Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Desired Skills and Competencies: * Experience integrating governance platforms with Snowflake, BI tools, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, or enterprise identity systems. * Knowledge of NIST, FISMA, privacy, records management, and data classification concepts relevant to federal environments. * Experience with data mesh, domain stewardship, master data, reference data, or data product operating models. * Familiarity with Agile product delivery and change management for governance adoption. ## Description Koniag Advisory and Business Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect (Governance) to support the Digital Workplace workforce by strengthening enterprise data governance, metadata management, lineage, stewardship, and trusted data use. This role will help establish practical governance structures that improve data discoverability, quality, accountability, and responsible reuse across mission and business systems. Work will be performed at the client's facility or customer approved remote locations during Eastern Time core business hours. The Enterprise Data Architect (Governance) will define and operationalize data governance architecture, standards, and integration patterns across the Digital Workplace environment.
