## About the Role

Master's degree, plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree in a related specialized area or equivalent relevant experience is required, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or, Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required., * Expertise in software engineering and cybersecurity frameworks like NIST SP 800-37 and 800-53.

 * Experience with STIGs, security policies, and vulnerability assessments for different systems and devices.
 * Hands-on technical experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Application Security and Development (ASD) STIG, static code analysis
 * Proficiency in developing RMF documentation and performing compliance scans.
 * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
 * A Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred), plus an active Security+ or CISSP certification.

## Description

What You'll Experience:

 * Hands-on work with the system development life cycle and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
 * Implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and running security assessments of a mission critical system.
 * Building RMF documentation, including security plans, testing plans, and compliance analysis.
 * Conducting vulnerability scans and compliance checks in a DevSecOps environment.
 * Collaborating with teams, customers, and stakeholders to solve complex cybersecurity challenges.
