Your main duties will be developing, implementing, and testing signal processing algorithms to exploit synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imagery. Day-to-day responsibilities will be primarily focused around developing code in various stages of maturity (from prototype to production level) in a fast paced environment for Ursa's ongoing Airborne Moving Target Indicator (AMTI) effort as well as to solve problems in a multitude of Ursa's other applications. Projects can range from fundamental SAR image processing to geospatial processing to data fusion approaches. Job Responsibilities * Experience working with classifying objects in SAR imagery. * Contribute to state-of-the-art processing techniques to solve customer problems using commercial SAR imagery * Design SAR collection parameters tailored for AMTI * Evaluate SAR satellite constellations and their orbits for a given use-case * Develop proof-of-concept and production-quality SAR algorithms for AMTI * Perform analysis to determine expected performance of processing algorithms for specific use cases * Participate in agile software development processes to bring algorithms into operational use * Participate in design discussions and code reviews * Communicate effectively and collaborate frequently with peers * Mentor junior members of the engineering team * Lead technical subject areas * Provide technical leadership to projects and programs * All other duties as assigned, * We are headquartered in Ithaca, NY and have a remote workforce in other locations throughout the United States. ## Related Videos - [Robots are coming into the wild!
